The Maine Makers Holiday Market is a holiday pop up store featuring Maine handmade products + Angelrox Clothing. Located in an industrial mill setting and offering a host of different activities throughout the days the store is open, you will be sure to find something special for everyone on your holiday list.
Shop at Suger on in Portland on Saturday, November 25th, a portion of your purchase will directly benefit Amistad, a Peer Support and Recovery Center in Portland. This incredible nonprofit organization provides a safe and welcoming community for adults who struggle with mental illness, addiction, and other life challenges and – since its inception in 1982 — it has grown into Maine’s largest peer community. Now in it's 5th year, this annual multi-artist show and sale promotes local artists, like designer roxi suger and makes holiday shopping a breeze.
A portion of proceeds from the month-long sale will benefit Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

a special evening to say thank you for your support and love. join us down by the river wednesday, december 2nd at 5 pm for a ceremony to light the smokestack then head up the hill for a party at suger and help us radiate joy. we will celebrate and say thanks by sweetening everything in the store by twenty percent. and 5% of your purchase will go directly to a local food bank.
the setting sun at our back we return to stead hum of the city streets. opening day of the 2015 season at the bryant park holiday shops is october 30th. find us there every day, 7 days a week, from 10/30/15 through 1/3/16. our booth is in the same spot as last year, #K3 on the library side of the park. bryant park bounded by 6th ave 42nd & 40th streets and the new york public library at 5th avenue.
this weekend is the legendary Yarmouth Clam Festival - July 17-19. Friday & Saturday 10am-9pm. Sunday 10am-5pm. not to worry though if you are cozy in Biddeford this weekend, Suger is still open it's regular hours on Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm. warm sweet summer days to you and yours!
acclaimed jewelry designer visits stephanie robb visits suger on april 17th for a trunk show as she travels in the north east. its a special treat and we are honored to have her visit friday the 17th from 4-7 pm. stephanie is a talented artist beyond her work with metals and stones. she is a dancer and beautiful soul.
Inaugural Biddeford Ball + Fashion Show benefit fundraiser from 7pm-midnight on August 23rd, 2014 inside Building 13 of the Pepperell Mill Campus. This exciting event will raise funds for local food banks and the exterior renovation of the Marble Block, a historic building at 129 Main Street in Biddeford which is being transformed into a center for art and design by Engine, a not-for-profit community arts organization. Founded by Suger and her husband Julian, the event is being further inspired and guided by the Biddeford Ball Committee consisting of various community members and groups.
The event schedule will include:
7pm-9pm: Makers Market and Silent Auction
9:30 pm: Fashion show featuring Angelrox on a glorious range of women celebrating all
9pm-12am: The Ball (semi-formal)
Suger at 25 Alfred Street will feature the work of metalsmith Naomi Grace McNeill for the upcoming ArtWalk this friday, June 27 from 5-9 pm. Check out her beautiful work!

Join us for the one you love and have one on us while you're at it. You take care of the kids on Wednesday the 11th from 6-9 while the ladies make up a wishlist and shop for you. we are so excited to head down the hill to forever fit @ 116 main street near cobblestones for their annual holiday wellness night. you deserve some pampering and relaxation. they will have chair massage, foot and hand treatments stretch sessions and refreshments! our own Roxi Suger will be there with a selection of some of her favorite pieces.
the wonderful angels @ forever fit are also collecting donations as part of a food drive for this event so if you can grab a can on your way out the door!
