2015 biddeford ball
thank you all for your sweet support!
on october third twenty fifteen we gathered to celebrate the mills, our shared history, the mighty Saco river and the strong people who grace her shores. sweet music, smooth moves and moments of pure joy wonder sparkled in the crisp autumn air - perfect for a lil' funky bow tie and dash of intrigue.
the 2015 Biddeford Ball was a masquerade! we donned masks and danced the night away to chris humphrey’s big band while dining on delectable delights from custom deluxe, biscuits & co along with the chef and the gardner and warm seafood bisque from sea salt lobster. we banded together with hoppy brews from banded horn and funky bow along with a special cocktail made with bimini gin from round turn distilling… french wine from devonish and good spirits did swirl and flow. the night began with african drum and dance led by embody the rhythm. ballroom dancers were only some of the performers throughout the evening that dazzled and inspired! as the night deepens we dug down to our roots.
the biddeford ball is a fundraiser with the goal of bringing people together in a common cause. proceeds from the 2015ball will were used to illuminate the iconic brick smoke stack that defines the saco/biddeford skyline and raise awareness and jump start fundraising for the biddeford mills museum.

one of the things we were most thrilled about was that we were able to gather, preserve and share with future generations our pride in the hardy and industrious souls that make our mills thrive and built our fair cities. even though the 2015 ball has passed we would like to invite you to pledge $5 to honor someone you know who worked or works in the mills today. their name will be included in our Mill Log and shared with the Biddeford Mills Museum. together we continue to weave the beautiful fabric that is our past and our future. please help us preserve and celebrate our shared history of vibrant industry, passion and hard work!
the inaugural Biddeford Ball benefit in 2014 was a huge success and we thank all those who helped make it so amazing! thank you for your sweet support!
